Dear LHCb Colleagues (and especially sub-detector electronics contact persons) Please let me know if you would like to make a presentation during the Front-end electronics meeting (most likely Feb. 23 9:00 - 13:00) during the coming LHCb week. I would once again like to ask the different sub detectors to read the L0 front-end electronics requirements document (LHCb 99-029) and give comments. Only one sub-detector has so far come up with any comments to this document. After this LHCb week the document will come out in its final version and no major changes can be introduced !. It will be very useful if short presentations of comments/improvements/critisism can be made during the front-end electronics meeting. Another subject which is becoming increasingly important is the use and purchase of specialized LHC IC's (TTCRX, Delay chip, Rad hard linear power regulator, etc.). Many of these special IC's must soon be fabricated in quantity and any user must define their needs and find the necessary funding for the production/testing/packaging. Please determine what circuits of this type you will need and in which quantity. I will myself be absent from CERN in the coming week (Feb. 14-18). Best regards Jorgen Christiansen
